I am happy to report that this event has come to fruition! With the help of the community, authors, and student workers, our company has booked a venue and has a plethora of items for you to peruse. If you are you are a writer, a creator, or simply a person who wants to enjoy the atmosphere while munching on a snack while shopping, then this event is for you!
In celebration of our hard work and the launching of two different NHS Creative Writing anthologies, we are holding a Mocktail Book Launch Party and Silent Auction on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. The event will be held at the Prairy Market Mezzanine, located on the corner of 6th Street and Main Street.
The silent auction contains items such as copies of students' books, quilts/handmade goods, gift certificates, and more! (Auction items can be viewed on the Event tab - https://www.faythepublishing.org/projects-8)
All proceeds of this event go toward our scholarship and writing fellowships. Please join the journey of fostering creativity and a new generation of writers in the world!
We envision this soiree as a bit of a potluck. Volunteers can sign up to bring beverages (juices, soda, or sparkling water), plates/napkins, and/or hors d'oeuvres. (Please note if your contribution includes any major allergens). If you can donate or have connections to people who would be able to help support this cause, please let us know.
